Sassafras,

Was there 4/28-5/1. Way too short of a stay. And even though I went, my golf game decided independently decided to stay home.

. . . I'm still looking for it

No, it hasn't happened yet. I like the idea of going to a car show, but I only know of the one at Javits -- which has already happened. I will be away until about June 16th, and away again July 2nd til the 9th or 10th. If someone knows of a place to meet, even a park in North Jersey with bbq grills or something -- I remember Echo Lake Park off 22 near Mountainside when I was a kid -- how does something like that sound? The NY crowd can easily make it down and the South Jersey crowd can make the hike up the Parkway.

Let's start talking dates... anytime on/after July 17th for me.

it doesn't have to be a huge car show, just something that we can kind of line up the mo's and show em whats going on. I know i will be at the Susquehannock Trail Pro Rally on June 5th. Anyone is welcome to join me, but it is a 4 1/2 hour drive each way. Neat day of racing though.

Someplace with some tight and twisty roads would be great. I'm sick of all these straight roads!

I'm going to SC from June 5-14......otherwise anytime, ......there are some nice areas with some curvy roads in Hillsborough area of Jerz.......
Maybe back there somewhere, my friends own a WRX and a Porsche and they know some good curvy roads.....trust me.......and there are some parks out that ways too..........Echo lake ain't so bad, just rte 22 is pain in the neck......how bout Rossevelt in Edison, close to 287, Turnpike, and parkway...pretty big park, or Merrill Park is a good spot for a rally of MO's...... they have a biker rally there every spring, they just had it, that would be a cool place to strut around for the fine folks to see us MO owners.......

I don't know Roosevelt Park off the top of my head, but I'm up for it. Particularly with it being close to 287, its REAL close to Staten Island where Jaak said he'd like to visit family. Anyone in the NYC area mind coming down about half an hour below Newark Airport?

And as for Hillsborough, I used to work in Skillman (so I'd love it!) but I was hoping to get some of the NY and North Jersey crowd to come down, and it seems much easier to meet where the turnpike, parkway, and 287/440 all come together. Can we see some pics of Roosevelt Park?

Roosevelt Park is along Route 1 right next to the Menlo Park Mall.

I got engaged there a long, long time ago!

It's about 30-40 south of Newark Airport, about 15 minutes from the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island. Pretty close to where the Garden State Parkway, NJ Turnpike and Route 287 all meet.

Oh, okay, Mike. I remember MPM from growing up in Scotch Plains and living in Roselle Park for a while. Still don't remember the park, though. I once had a drunk driver pass me going the wrong way on Route 1 South there at the mall. (Not in the Murano, thank God )

Hi Larry.. no not yet. I'm starting a new 2-month-long assignment in Long Island this week, and I need new rubber before I risk it with my baby in this insane snow.
