If your MO is 2006+, then I think you only have two options... stick with what you have or get a replacement from Nissan because only Nissan makes those wipers.

I do not know what all the N.E of the U.S.A. or Eastern Canada use but out West I use the Reflex wipers that Canadian Tire sells. These wipers are great and if you do a search here you will find out more info.

I am a big believer in Rain-X windshield treatment. I have used it for years and find that I don't need to use my wipers that much. After 18 months my OEM wipers still work like new.

I just installed the BOSH "Icon" Blades about 2 months ago.
They seem to work real well. We'll see in about a year.
Initially they wipe the windshield better then any wiper I've ever
owned. Absolutely Quiet.
They are standard equipment on Mercedes and BMW
(if that means anything). They are the solid blade, like what is on the 06 no metal showing.
They're not cheap but they seem to be what I was looking for.
I did try the reflex blades, noisy and streaks after one month.
By the way, I'm not in the NE, I'm in northern Michigan snow country.

I learn something new everyday here.

It seems that Bosch is now making the bracketless blades that the 2006+ Muranos are now using.

This topic reminds me of the pet peeve I have concerning the location of the windshield washer nozzles on the MO.

I always have trouble clearing the snow and ice out of there. grrrr.

And why is it, no matter which car I drive, the only spot on the windshield not being wiped off by the blades is the spot right in front of my view? It ALWAYS HAPPENS THERE FIRST??!?!?

yes i do have a 2006, so basically besides OEM my only "good" choice is Bosch icon wiper blades.?

i guess i will def try rainx, but will see if i can find this icon one.

just rather annoying on a new car i have to deal with this annoyance

keep more insights coming.

i see Bosch has this one also
Micro Edge Excel Wiper Blades
from what i am reading the ICON reflex are the best "upgrade" aside from rainx.

I just saw a commercial for a Rain X wiper 'system' that dosen't have the usual 6 pressure points. They say even pressure is applied across the whole blade for a closer shave... (oops wrong commercial )

Haven't done any research as to if they make MO sizes or not.

I have been happy with my PIAA silicone blades, have had them for over a year.

I live in NJ too. I have an 2006 Murano I just went to RS Strauss and bought a pair of Bosch blades. I don't remember the model, I can tell you that they work great and cost $32 for the pair.

The OEM blades are horrible with the ice storms we are having. Not only do they cake up within minutes but they would not conform to the windshield. My visibility was horrible!

The OEM wipers were difficult to remove, the mechanic broke off the tabs on the wipers to install the new Bosch wiper.

I can finally see again!

Put Bosch Icons on a week ago. hasn't rained since!
Replaced rear for the first time in 4 years. Bought an 18" narrow refill, cut it to the right length and slid it in. Lessons learned: The refills with the plastic rail back (which I didn't use) rather than the all rubber with steel rails (which I did use and were a lot of work to install) will be much easier to install. You don't have to use anything to hold a narrow refill in. The wiper frame does that for you!
