1985 Nissan 300ZX
1989 Acura Legend
1995 Pontiac Sunfire
1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
2002 Infinit I35
2004 Nissan Murano SL
2005 Chevy SSR
2010 Hyundai Tuscan

Garage
Got my new Murano SV AWD today and excited as a kid with a box full of new toys! Emigrated from South Africa about a year ago and now based in Vancouver. Used to be part of the 4x4community forum and enjoyed the interaction with like-minded folks. Looking forward to picking up some interesting stories and tips from all.

Cant wait to get home and read the manual and configure all the settings. Should keep me out of the wife's way for most of the weekend.

Is it wrong for me to already want to wash my car even if it is fresh off the showroom?

Heyo!

Hey all,

Just saying hello, I purchased a 2016 Murano SL premium package a couple of weeks ago and have already used this forum for useful information a couple of times, so I figured I'd better join up. I'm originally from England but I've been in the USA for close to 16 years and in that time I've had a whole slew of cars but the Murano is shaping up to be one of the best.

Hi, I'm a newbie here, and a first time Nissan owner. I'm going through a financial slump so I got rid of the high car payment and purchased a used 2004 Murano SL...I've always liked the way they look. For the last 20 years I've driven pickups, and the thing I probably like best about my Murano is the ease of parking it vs. a big pickup.

I found this site when I was looking to resolve a couple of issues, and thanks to some of the great people here I found the instructions (with pictures) to fix my sun visor. Every time I hit a bump it would flop down in my fave. I was able to do the repair in under an hour...not bad for a girl! I look forward to finding more great info and sharing information.

Question New 2015 Murano SL Driver - Voice Guidance Question

Hello to all. I am now driving my daughter's 2015 Murano SL two-wheel drive vehicle. I very much enjoy driving this vehicle.

While scrolling through the Navigation settings, I am sure that I saw that the Route Guidance voice can be selected from male or female, and with American, British, or Australian accent.

Now that I want to change the voice, I can't find the path to reach that option.
Does anyone know how to navigate to the voice option?

Hello, I'm new here. Recently came into a 2006 Murano with approx 166000 miles. When i test drove it the tach was at 4000 at 60 mph cruis. I don't know anything about cvt but that seems very high. Also when i moved shifter to right there was no noticeable change in performance or rpm. Hoping that this is electrical or linkage problem. any ideas?

Hi, Im new to this forum. I just purchased a used 03 Nissan Murano. I love the car but am experiencing electrical problems such as the Tire pressure light and the check engine soon light. My gas gauge works but at times plays tricks on me. Otherwise the car drives great.
Looking to learn as much as I can about Nissan Murano. Thank you

Glad you fixed it. I had the same problem. I purchased the clip on Ebay for $5.00 and repaired mine too.

This seems like a very active forum, which is good. I've been on other auto forums that might get one post every couple of weeks. Just bought a CPO 2015 Murano SL (6,000 miles). Very happy with the vehicle. My previous vehicle was a Nissan Rogue.

Hi All,
I have recently bought a 2005 Murano to replace a 2004 Rav 4 that we owned from new and was written off in an accident.Came across the Murano by mistake and after a bit of research went to view, bought it that night!Still impressed after 2weeks and long and short runs.My wife is taking longer to get used to the extra size of the car and being just over 5 feet tall has the seat on full hight/forward which brings her closer to the steering wheel than ideal,(have read about adjustable pedals but dont think my model has them?)
Hoping to have many years in the car and on forum.

If it has the adjustable pedals there will be a switch on the forward outside panel of the driver's seat. The pedals will only adjust when the car is stopped and in park.

Hello all fellow Murano owners. I am a first time Murano owner and as of last week just purchased a 2016 Platinum edition in red. I traded in a 2013 Ford Edge Limited, and so far am very pleased with my trade. I feel the Murano was a big step up from the Edge. Have a little over 400 miles and just added vent visors and a bug deflector on the front. Gave it just a little extra the wife said she was looking for. Hope to post some pics soon and pick up some more news tips and tricks for the Murano's from some of you that have been around for a while.

Hey all, just purchased an artic blue metallic, 2016 Nissan Murano Platinum, with the "charcoal" leather tech package etc. Picking it up today. Looking forward to the change after 12 years of Titan pickup driving and Maxima for 7 years before that. What can I say Nissan is in my blood.
