Any suggestions for a well priced cargo mat for the back of the 2016 Murano? I learned the hard way from my past SUV ownership experiences that it's worth getting this early on to keep it looking decent.
eBay.
I got a full set of mats with cargo mat for $120 including shipping. Actual Nissan mats. Many people switch out their mats for the Rubbermaid type which handle mud better. Once they switch then they sometimes sell their original mats.
If you don't like the OEM cargo mat, Weathertech and Husky are the popular aftermarket brands when it comes to floor mats and cargo liners. Both have good reviews online; Weathertech is just more expensive.
I bought the carpeted cargo mat shortly after I bought the vehicle, and then the all-weather one back when the Nissan store was having that sale (in April I think). The carpeted one is good if you want something that matches the interior color of the car but still protects it (although I think they may have stopped selling the beige ones recently) and the all-weather one is good for all the messy stuff and to truly protect it.
I'd suggest just buying the OEM ones. They fit like a glove and keep the car looking professional and clean. Unless you can find one that truly fits the Murano perfectly, those other brands just always seem to end up looking crappy and not doing a proper job protecting the area. I bought some awful mats for my old vehicle from some store and they never fit quite right and always looked awful.

(I am sitting in the good old Nissan lounge as they do that Passenger Airbag recall....)
I bought some off of Amazon. They are not custom fit, but the entire set, fronts, large back seat that covers all the way across, and cargo that mostly covers everything for around $60
bwebb6322 do you have the floor mats in the front too? I just ordered the cargo liner from Husky and was wondering if the floor mats are the same or better then Weathertech?
My Murano came with Nissan's all weather mats that say "Murano" on them for the front and rear seat areas. They are nice enough, but do not have a rim around them to trap spills like Weathertech and Husky liners do.
I can't speak as to whether or not Husky mats are better than Weathertech. I've owned Weathertech mats and cargo liners before and they are top notch products. The Husky cargo liner for the Murano is my only experience with Husky. I will say that the Husky cargo liner is also very high quality. Equal to Weathertech in my opinion.

I got the Husky one and really like it. The fit is exact. You do have to cut out the slots for the tie-downs.
I have Husky Liners in my 2nd Gen. Just as good a fit as Weathertech, but I found them to be less expensive.
Shipping may be cheaper also. When I bought them a couple of years ago, shipping to Canada was only US$10. I think it is up to $15 now.
