Talking Ferrari F430 or Lamborghini Gallardo.... Which one to drive?

The Dream Car Sprint? - A Driving Adventure by Gotham Dream Cars

Start Your Engines.
The Dream Car Sprint is Here.
The venues are confirmed. The dates are set. And now one of the most
exciting and exhilarating automotive adventures ever to hit the road is
taking reservations.
The Dream Car Sprint will give you a chance to pilot one of your
automotive dreams - a Ferrari F430 or Lamborghini Gallardo -
around our specially-designed autocross track to pump your
adrenaline to a whole new level.
I found a deal last week to do this for $99 instead of the regular $249 so I said, what the hell, when will I get to drive a Lambo or Ferrari again for $99!!?!?

Now... I can't decide which one to go with?

If it says Ferrari on it, I'd be all over it.

Ther is no doubt - F430!

Why would anybody even consider a car manufactured by a tractor company (lamborghini)? And now thay are own by Audi they cars lost "sole"......sad....

BTW. I was invited to Cadillac special event - I drove CTS-V around the race track in Palm Beach and got a video of it. Unbeliveable experience! I can only imagine what it would be like to drive Ferrari 430 around the track......maybe some day.....

Dang... well it looks like Ferrari is the winner.

RWD might be a little more fun than AWD.

That's very cool! I am in love with the CTS-V! (all 3)

Don't kid yourself. I've had a couple friends do these events and you don't get to push the car hard enough to care if it's RWD or AWD. Don't expect them to let you hot lap a $200k car at 9/10ths for a couple hundred bucks.

Well... we see how it goes. Do they have the throttle limited or something? What would stop me from putting my foot to the floor?

They are all rental cars that have probably had quite a bit of abuse already.

They keep the courses technical enough that you won't have room to do much.

Now I see how they get away with it. The course as depicted in the YouTube video is nothing more than a bunch of low-speed turns in a parking lot. I doubt the driver ever saw third gear.

Yeah, of my friends who have done this and one of those nascar experiences they said save your money and do the nascar experience. You can break 150 at the nascar experience.

Or better yet, if you have a car that is remotely trackable (pretty much any coupe or sedan) buy a set of racing brake pads, flush in some ATE super blue fluid and go to an opening lapping day at a local race track.

Nelson Ledges fun days are $130 and they have an instructor available for the very basic "Nelson School". You get some classroom time talking about the racing line etc then a couple laps behind the instructor followed by a lap with the instructor following you. At that point he will clear you for open lapping or decide to keep you in the separate training group. I know lots of other tracks have similar programs with costs from $100 to $500 depending on the quality of the race course and level of instruction provided.
