Well Ladies and Gents, I joined this Wonderful group of folks 6 month ago this coming Thursday. During that time I have had the pleasure of moving from least post to most and along the way learned a lot from a truly great bunch of folks.
I have spend a LOTTA time researching, typing and thinking. It has made my ownership of a MO truly MOre. I think it is time to back off on the intensity and let others have the top spot again. I MUST do my taxes and I have let so many other things slip so that I could stay hyper involved. I don't plan of dieing and leaving the site completely but cutting way,, way way, back. As I fade away, let me say a heartfelt "Thank You " to all of those who have been so kind to me" and allowed me to get to learn a little about YOU as well as your MO's. I have about 9 more post to make and plan to end it at 3000 on the anniversary date of six months. Overall average of 16.66 posts per day. That may take a bit to break that, BUT I sincerely hope someone does. As always, with a rhyme in time and pun for fun, I remain your Gripper Don

Grip....don't go, I count on seeing your 300 posts a day!
OK, you need some grandbaby and grippee time but at least check in a couple of times a day and see what's going on. We kinda lean on you, your always there with advice and you have quite a resume to back it up. So please don't wander too far, you can scale it back to ehh...100 posts a day!!! Bob |

I know the truth. It has been raining so much out there that Grip has to start sand bagging. Seriously Don, we all know family comes first so spend some more time with them but surf here occasionly and when you see a post that needs an answer that you have please post.

So will he have the title Mr. 3000? Will he start making websites and businesses with that name to show his accomplishment?

Can we do anything to change your mind? I guess less posts is better than none but maybe you will change your mind later and come back full force. You've indeed been an invaluable contributor and we need you.

Let me make a final stab at this. First special thanks to:
Zelbekhan, MOpar, Simplesb, Homer, Sricha, RichE, RickM46, KSmurano, Kris, bob1, Ohio Murano, Mgthe3, SnowMo, mozman, njmo and Surag Rushmurano and to the many others that have said no many nice things. Secondly, I am not getting rid of My Marvelous, MO! I plan on continuing to modify it as I have time to enhance its comfort, style and capabilities. As you know I have a number of things still on the front burner. Parts for all are either in hand or on order, with just a couple yet to be ordered. My oldest has yet to send me the MiniMAc for my voice activated carputer and I still need to take the test for the Amateur technicians License and get the 2 meter installed and Ethernet connected and on the air. So many things to do before I sleep. Finally, I hope to be able to post a picture from time to time as the project continues. I feel somewhat bad and kind of a shirker going away, But I have a tendency to get totally immersed in things. But Daughter, Grand Daughter and Grippee and family suffer when you are either in the garage or on the computer all the time. So being the manic that I am I know it's time. Thanks to you all for putting up with me and best wishes, as ever, GRIP

I'm starting to feel like we need a wake or something.
Until someone is missing from our lives, even if only temporarily, we often fail to realize what affect they had on ourselves and so many others. I am already missing your frequent posts. Take care and we'll be on the lookout for ya! PS - I'm sure you'll get a million invites... But, when the Grand Tour takes you toward St. Louis, feel free to make a little detour my way. We have the most beautiful Capitol west of the Mississippi! Visit Jefferson City Sorry, I'm shameless!
