those are garbage. I mean light output wise. remember those thing are supposedly replaces a DRL/high beam. since we dont have dedicated DRL it will of course replace our high beam..
I am cooking something that act as DRL and maybe additional fog lights (on top of the oem fogs). its also LED and made of 'aircraft grade aluminum'. ![]() I'll post if I received the items needed/installed

I dont have any pics as of now. I will have some on a few days. I really like the look though!. My MO came with bluish hids and I didn't like that so I went to a crystal clear white hid and also did the fogs to a crystal clear LED. It looks amazing! And sophisticated

In for pics.
I can't imagine them being that bright to cut through fog. Even Rigid Duallys aren't that bright.

These all have multiple LED and are not a point source of light. In the MO fog reflector the light is diffused and will no longer work as a fog light....

I'm adding driving lights that will actually work: Hella 500 driving lights mounted on a front bull bar.
![]() These are available in either a driving light or fog light configuration, which are two DIFFERENT things. It's all based on the design of the reflector and the lens. Without quality design in both the reflector and the lens, lights are junk. Putting higher wattage lamps into junk lights produces more crappy light in places where it doesn't belong, blinding oncoming drivers. Hella 500 Light Kit, Hella 500 Lights < A site listing both options. A real fog lamp requires an extremely sharp cutoff of the light beam about 2 feet above the ground, with no light being projected higher than that. The point is to keep the light low enough so that it doesn't reflect on fog particles in the air. A driving light will have a focused beam which projects hundreds of yards down the road and needs to be carefully aimed to keep its point of focus. Good quality lights often have a specific mounting position, and if you want to mount them upside down, they require dis-assembly, inversion of the reflector and lens, then re-assembly to retain the proper focus of the light.
