Default 2010 Subaru Outback

So what does everyone think of the new 2010 Subaru Outback? This thing is amazing and the 3.6L engine is a stud powerplant. I'm seriously considering buying one at this point, guess I'll have to head over to www.SubaruOutback.org

Your first post is a poll on the 2010 Subaru Outlook?

For the record, I am indifferent - on the Outlook and the poll.

Check my join date... WAAAY back in 2003 For some reason a while back all my posts and threads were deleted, since then I've just been lurking. That all being said I'm interested in the new Outback in comparison to the Murano, the Outback now has a CVT which is getting rave reviews for operation and incredible MPG. Not quite in the same performance category as a Murano, but the 3.6L 6-cylinder is remarkable. I've been reading a bit over at our sister site www.SubaruOutback.org and all those who have bought a 2010 Outback seem to really like them.

Love Subaru [we almost bought an STI before deciding on the MO], but I'm not a fan of wagons. No dog and no kids; I'm too young for that business!

Default Where's it made

Is it made in the good old USA? Or Japan.
That's one reason I went with a MO, all Japanese.

Someone mentioned they saw a video of Nissan plant, all the workers wearing white coats, all spiffy, and the American car plant that must have looked like Gung-Ho...

I love my country but I am not sure that we are so great at the auto plant anymore.

I'm with you, Rich. Country of assembly is one of the first things I look for when new car shopping. Assembled in Japan is ALWAYS a big plus!

The 3.6L version of the Legacy doesn't have a CVT, only the 2.5L 4-cyl.

Subaru has lost it for looks. Are they trying to look like a Yota?
