Mine replaced a Black 2000 Sentra SE. I put 100,000 miles on it, and it still looked and drove like it was brand new. When I went to trade it in, the guy at the dealer appraising the car came out and said "Are you sure it has 100K" He couldn't believe it. Man, I loved that car. It was the new body style with the Performance Package. I just couldn't effectively do my job any more with it. (I travel a lot and need to be able to carry a lot of "stuff". I almost kept it but knew with the MO I knew would never drive the poor thing. We also have a 2002 Altima and I will say I liked the Sentra better.
Anyway, sorry, had to pay a little homage to "Greta"... |

2000 Maxima GXE with 62,000 miles. Had another Max prior to the 2000. It was 10 years old with 160,000 miles and was still going strong with absolutely no problem with anything in all that time. A testiment to Nissan reliability, but it was just plain time for a new car. With the 2000, same deal but I never quite liked the back end. Was set to buy the new styled Maxima, but saw the Murano and that was that.

Replaced a '95 Nissan Pathfinder with 173,000 miles of hard driving and tons of off road fun. She was getting tied and when I went to starter her up to take her to teh dealer she would not start. I had to jump her with my Yukon XL and then hoped I would close the deal I wanted with the local dealer.

Wow was that a tough one to give up. With family expanding, I decided to make the trade. My wife drives a Mazda Protege5 which she didn't want to part with. Sooo, I made the sacrifice. That Audi was a tight, tight car. I'm really enjoying the Murano though and don't have any regrets, yet.

1999 Honda Civic SI, one of the bright blue ones. I really wish I could have kept it. I still have my motorcycles though, no woman could make me get rid of my toys.

A 1995 BMW 3 Series Compact Automatic (something very rare in Germany), and I would never have sold it if not for the move to the US (they refused to import it). The Mo helps a little bit (actually quite some bit) over the grievance.

1999.5 Pathfinder SE
It was great -- no complaints at all (my second PF). But one "curious" test drive in the MO and it was history.

similar story here...... (although i had a 2k1 trooper 4x4)... i jus happened in on a dealer (after a brief on-line build-it-yourself session, and test drove.... it rode better than my Mom's rx300 (and her car only has 10K on the clock, after 2 years!!) the dealer wanted me to take the MO home that night, to 'sleep' on it..... i hastily declined, but still couldnt resist the next-day purchase..... in love ever since...........lol S

Hey KSmurano... a bump?
OK, I replaced a 97 Grand Cherokee. Liked my 02-Altima, had more than 20,000 miles and no problems so went for the MO since it shared the same engine and Chassis. Bob |
