Default New Rims! What do you Think?

Got some nice new wheels on my 07 murano today! Thought it turned out great. Really tried to pick a wheel that had a dark gray finish to match the car. I found the brake calipers are pretty rusty so I'm going brush them & pain them black this weekend. What do you guys think?

I think those are some good-looking rims - the match the styling of the Murano quite nicely. What if you painted the calipers grey to match the body color?

I had a thought of that but wasn't sure if I wanted them to stick out that much or not. Any other thoughts about which caliper color? Dark gray or black?

Nice wheels! I'd go black with the calibers. I sure hope you plan on washing the inside of those rims when you wash the car, for those wheels will make it very easy, not like the OEM LE knuckle busters I have . Take care!

Wow nice rims! Are those 20"? Those look like a thinner, sportier version of the 2nd Gen 18" fan blade rims. They really match the style of the MO. Well done!

Awesome! After a little searching I see MB Wheels are a Discount Tire exclusive product line, which should make our forum sponsor happy.

$124/rim is awesome - I'll have to convince my girlfriend that 'investing' some of our tax refund into DT 'stock' will have significant future returns. Of course, that only means the rims will allow the MO to 'return' home year after year!

yea i got them at discount tire. didn't know that was a sponsor but glad to help! The only bad thing is that i guess nissan makes some part of the tpms out of aluminum which basically destroys the sensor when it contact road salt. so one of my sensors was broke when taking it off the stock rim. they said it was $60 per sensor i said not to put it on & deal with the 'check tire' light in the mean time. other than that i love the wheels!

I have the same color MO so it's great to see exactly what it'll look like with these rims. Did you order the valve stems and wheel installation kit? If so, did the kit come with 4 wheel lock nuts or just the standard nuts? I don't want the rims to grow legs! Thanks for your help

I got everything for 671 out the door. This includes the install kit, locks, and whatever else. I got 2 rebates worth $90 as well. $50 for using their credit card (which I'll pay off quickly) & $40 rebate for a 2 day promotion that was running last week. Yea I was looking for the same color Murano with mods I wanted but haven't found much. Glad I could help you!
