Default Got my Pandora Kit from Bodykits.org!

Got my Murano back today! Flew out from Oakland to Orange County, met up with Aldo from BodykitsUSA (bodykits.org) and picked up my wife's Murano. Looks sick! Can't wait to get it painted and grilles installed. Also trying to decide on that foglights to run.

Looks good!

Are you happy with the fit and finish? Or more importantly, is she happy with the fit and finish?

WOW! EXCITING! Good Deal! What material did they use? Let us know how much the paint job ended up costing. Its good that they left it installed for you. Is there suppose to be some black mesh on the front? I was comparing it to the original and looks almost the same except for the rear end part where the tail pipe sticks out. Are you planning on lowering it and are those 20s--even bigger wheels maybe?.....you know...to complete the look? I guess you can't have one if you have a tow hitch. Or can they accomodate that one too?

I'm extremely happy with it and so is my wife. (I think she's mainly excited to get her car back in general she's missed it alot lol). It's made from thick fiberglass and just like any fiberglass body kit, it does need some very minor touch ups that a good body shop can tackle I'm sure.

I'm not sure if it's an exact copy and there may be some slight differences but I'm happy with it as it is. It doesn't come with grilles nor foglamps (just like many other kits) so I will have to find these myself which is ok so I can pick what I want.

Oh and i forgot to mention, the wheels on there are factory 07 maxima 18x8s and I was planning on getting GTR 20s but now im thinking of 22s? We will see...

Looks good. I've always liked that Pandora kit it's based on. The fit looks good in the pictures. Can't wait to see it painted. I was really tempted to let them use my MO but we only have two cars & it would not work for us. Once you finish it you should take it to some car shows, especially Nissan shows. It'll blow them away since you never see a MO at a show.

Thanks. Yea i can't wait to get it painted and the grills put on. Anyone have any ideas on what kinda grilles to get? Foglights?

Im also contemplating taking the side skirts off, they're kinda big and hang kinda low and the wife is scared to damage them. I wonder what it will look like without them. I will try taking them off later this weekend.

I would definitely leave the side skirts on. They look good and complete the kit look. Are those side vents functional or decorative? Remember, almost every sedan and coupe hang lower that your kit skirts. If they ever get damaged then I would put the OEM skirts back on.

I would get an auto style grill material. I recall some Z forum talk about people getting some, although I don't recall any detailed info on them. A cheap grill will ruin the kit. Good luck.

Definately don't want a cheapo grille, i am still looking.

No the side scoops are non functional but i could make them to if i want to cut holes into them. I REALLY like the side skirts but.... they are really starting to become annoying to my wife and well.... its her car afterall so... i may take them off tomorrow and see how it looks. Ill take some pics. Maybe i can make skirts from another kit work?

Hey Turbizzy,

Have you painted the kit yet. Can't wait to see it, and what did you decide on the side skirts?

Hey guys. Well... I think after months of daily driving with this kit, being lowered and having to baby it over large bumps and driveways and another baby on the way, I may be taking this kit off and putting it up for sale. I really liked it but it is my wife's car and she is the primary driver so i want her to be able to drive wherever she wants and not worry about damaging the kit on a parking block or high curb.

Its not yet painted and still looks like the pics above. Ill post updates as soon as I decide on what im going to do. So far I have the front bumper, waiting on custom grille and rear bumper from Fedex. Just gotta get foglights, front license plate mount and misc items.

So practicality wins this one huh. Shucks, I like the kit but I've also been worried about ground clearance, especially living in Ontario. Maybe compensate with a body lift? Might look odd. Course you'd need to get larger wheels to fill the arches in that case.

I kind of surprised there's a clearance problem. My stock body has 10.5" clearance and looking at the pictures of Turbizzy's Mo with his kit, the clearance doesn't look any less than the car next to it.

I'm definitely in love with the kit! Always thought the sunlit copper was one of the best colors for body kits. Unusual color but pops against chrome!
