Welcome!
Fair warning on the billet grilles. T-Rex makes the easiest to install and highest quality package for the 06-07 MO's if you're looking for the billet style. Of course, they're going to cost a pretty penny. I tried to go with the cheaper upper/lower billet inserts from Ebay and just wasted my time. Got my money back though. They were not cut correctly, were too long or too short in areas, the mounting hardware seriously sucked, etc, etc, etc. I ultimately went with an E&G Classics Z grille from CarId's website. They gave me a good discount being a MO forum member and military support. If you're looking for a good audio upgrade package, there is a mod kit being sold to allow for aftermarket head units. Check it out! Good luck!

I went with the E and G Classics grille replacement also and really like it...unfortunately, I didn't know about the "deals" you could get by being a Nam vet or I could have saved some money....but the bottom line is I like what it did to the lines....in spite of some comments that the grille looks like chrome fencing....go to the C and G Classics website and take a look at the MO grille options....I was impressed with the build and styling so I bought this one: Nissan Murano Mesh Grille by E&G Classics, 2pc 2009-2010. Yes...it's a bit pricey, but we all seem to throw money at aftermarket doo-dads to personalize our rides. I think it smoothed out the aggressive look of the original grille....which I was surprised to find was a single piece of chromed plastic that couldn't have weighed 3 pounds.
If you decide to swap out grilles, make sure you tape off the area and spray paint the silver or aluminum parts behind it with flat black. Some of the tubing and engine parts shine and might show through and detract from the professional look of a nice looking piece of chromed grille.

Yeah I previously purchased a grille off ebay upper and lower and it definetely did not fit properly. When i emailed the seller to let them know it wasnt working properly they immediately refunded my money did not even offer to send out another grille so obviously they knew their product was junk.
I also keep looking at the White Murano with the 24" Status Knights on it.... whew i think i would be willing to go purchase those in a 22'' i could get them for a decent price. Thanks everyone so much for your feedback! |
