This is a picture of our family car when I was growing up:
1969 Pontiac GTO
400ci Quad-barrel carb
Exterior: Midnight Green
Interior: Black Vinyl
0-60 7.2 seconds (unofficialy-just me and my friends with a wrist watch)
I remember how hot those black vinyl seats got in the summer. And the metal Pontiac emblem in the middle of the seat would brand you if you weren't wearing a shirt! Sadly, this car was destroyed by the person we sold it to in 1989. He blew up two engines before scapping it for parts.
as i have stated before, i like the tailamp shape (not bulbs) BETTER on the mo.....(think the MO would look even meaner with the 4" exh. finishers of the FX as well)
i do,however, like the front end of the fx better...... (amongst others)
to have both, is a sweet deal indeed (congrats again Kris!)
i hope you dont get any of the hate mail i was getting......
as I said I love them both...........I may even write a comparison and post it on both forums - FX and MO. It might be dangerous though
Thanks esemes,
I am not worry about the email/posts. I said many times on many discussion boards - using offensives language on great boards like this one is reflection of one professionalism and stupidity. This forum has been great so far. I respect all the members and I learned a lot. Hope it stays this way...........
Here are the other cars in my household, as per KSmurano's request:
My old 2002 Mustang GT with the 2002 Stage 2 Roush Mustang
The GT had:
Whole carbon fiber interior
TriAx short throw shifter
Autometer Indiglo gauges
Flowmaster Stage 2 Mufflers
Carbon Fiber badges and letter inserts on the rear bumper
Mach 1 Grille Delete
Mach 1 Front Splitter
There was a lot more on the way, but the MO was an impulse buy?!?
The Stage 2 Roush was an impulse buy as well and is pretty much stock if you can consider it that...its a garage queen most of the year.
Here are the workhorses:
1998 Ford F150
-pushbar
-Aftermarket dual exhaust
2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition
ye she looks great...........and the palm trees....................I just returned from New Jersey.................man what a weather........brrrrrrrrr
SnowMO, I really like your neighborhood. The hills and there are neighbors, but not right on top of you. My now alternate mode of transport which was my daily driver before I bought the Nissan, which is why it is so dirty in the picture... Edit.. This should also explain my login name
sounds like you are a mixed up bird (fly SOUTH in the winter, mmkay??lol)... tonite its 76.3°F, and i had to use the air in the house..humidity is 57%....yuck!!
1948 Dodge
Hand-me-down from my grandmother. It was my grandfather's, who bought it from his aunt who bought it from the dealer. I've got it up on jackstands right now rebuilding the brakes, fuel system, and putting wide white walls on it. Hope to have it ready for spring.

Yeah, I love where I live. We looked at over 50 houses in a year. It was exhausting, so I suggested building. A year later we moved into this plan and luckily live in the back of it, and are the only ones on a cul-de-sac.
That's a nice stang. I was looking to buy a fox body, but think I might go exotic and get the new lotus elise when it comes stateside.
