Default Removing ink stains

I've found a few ballpoint ink stains here and there that the previous owners left behind. I'm looking for recommendations to remove them. Some of them are on the dash, some are on the door interiors.

I've tried Simple Green and Goo Gone but neither really did a good job.

WD-40 works on some stains too. Start in a small area....

Mineral oil or gasoline if all else fails but if you use gas, you will have to re-wax the area afterward.

I recently sat in my Murano with a pen in my pocket which broke and did a great job of covering my seat in ink. I ran to the sink and grabbed a magic eraser and it took the ink out very well. The leather was very slightly discolored (faded) in the areas that required more scrubbing but I think it was just because the seat was cleaner.
