Default performance

After reading many reviews, 0 - 60 performance figures have been anywhere from 7.5 to 8.1. The review below from Motorweek indicates a 0 - 60 time in 7 sec flat. Guess it is all in the driver.

sorry, the link doesn't take you to the page. Go to Vehicle Manufacturer, click Nissan then go to Murano.

I like the idea of posting this here, as any performance geek knows that a clean car is much faster than a dirty car.

And amazingly enough, exhaustive testing indicates that the difference can be as much as .6 seconds 0-60.

An additional .5 seconds can be gained by using Zaino.

This then, scientifically explains the range of 7.0 to 8.1 seconds encountered by different testers.

I always thought there was more performance to be gained with a clean interior.

Don't forget the tire shine

I think you are confusing 0-60 acceleration with Absolute Top End.

I've had a couple of cars that, when taken to their top end, had to have the the seats cleaned.

Also, don't forget to inflate the donut spare to max pressure, heard that gives you a slight gain in top end as well. hehe

Ok to be serious now, its kind of hard to say its the driver when you are talking about an automatic transmission. The Motortrend review (or whichever carmag it was that got 7.5) specifically states that they brake torque to get that number. I'm not willing to beat on a $6000 transmission, so I guess I'll take my sweet time getting to 60 in 8.1s
