Default Cleaning Interior Glass

No matter what I do, I can't get the inside of my front windscreen smudge free. Not on the Murano, not on the wife's Camry. Halp!

Does anyone have a tried and true method?

My favorite automotive glass cleaner is called "invisible glass". It comes in two different containers, one is in a compressed can and one is in a pump sprayer. I prefer the compressed can, for some reason it seems to work better although I would think it's really the same product.

Another secret is to use newspaper instead of cloth. Seriously. Just dirty old newspaper. It works amazingly well, and was a tip that an auto glass place told me about.

Now, the problem I always have with the INSIDE of windshields is that it's hard to get low on the glass because the dash is in the way. I'm managed to do it OK, but it's always a pain. If someone has a tried and true method or nifty tool, I'd like to know.

Oh man no no there is this stuff i use at work that works tits. Its called Spray-way, its in a blue and white can. It sprays out like foam, then use a clean microfiber towel to work it around then a clean one to buff it clean. It leaves no residue or anything. Shines so hard.

There's also this glass cleaner handle they sell that lets you reach into those tight far corners.

+1, This is the stuff that I use too, also with the extension handle. I get the Spray-Way at Home Depot in the area where they sell cleaning supplies. The handle enables you get into the tight area where the windshield meets the dash. It also will allow you to have enough leverage to press hard and move the pad in different directions. Definitely a great combo. Take care!

Thanks guys - I'm going to try the spray-way. Anything the effectiveness of which includes "tits" in the description has to be good.

I use one of these... For me, it works best with paper towels. It allows you to really reach into the edges without honking the horn.... They are very inexpensive, but well worth it! You used to be able to find them at CVS or Walmart, I haven't seen them around much anymore...

Yeah thats what im talkin about. But i find with paper towels you leave alot of lint behind, its bugs me. I'd rather use microfiber towels that leave no lint. I just hate how microfiber catches on my skin ridges lol.

I was in Home Depot this afternoon and my eye fell on a can of Sprayway - and I recollected this thread. Picked it up and tried it out first on some storm doors and windows. Works great! I think I'm going to have to cover the dash with a towel when I do the Murano, though - the spray is pretty aggressive.

Good to hear. Towel would help but this stuff wipes off easily once the foam goes down. You can even use it to clean the dash while your at it.

Had a glass window company tell me it's the only thing they use. Cheaper at Sam's Club.
