My favorite automotive glass cleaner is called "invisible glass". It comes in two different containers, one is in a compressed can and one is in a pump sprayer. I prefer the compressed can, for some reason it seems to work better although I would think it's really the same product.
Another secret is to use newspaper instead of cloth. Seriously. Just dirty old newspaper. It works amazingly well, and was a tip that an auto glass place told me about. Now, the problem I always have with the INSIDE of windshields is that it's hard to get low on the glass because the dash is in the way. I'm managed to do it OK, but it's always a pain. If someone has a tried and true method or nifty tool, I'd like to know.

Oh man no no there is this stuff i use at work that works tits. Its called Spray-way, its in a blue and white can. It sprays out like foam, then use a clean microfiber towel to work it around then a clean one to buff it clean. It leaves no residue or anything. Shines so hard.
There's also this glass cleaner handle they sell that lets you reach into those tight far corners. |

I use one of these... For me, it works best with paper towels. It allows you to really reach into the edges without honking the horn.... They are very inexpensive, but well worth it! You used to be able to find them at CVS or Walmart, I haven't seen them around much anymore...

I was in Home Depot this afternoon and my eye fell on a can of Sprayway - and I recollected this thread. Picked it up and tried it out first on some storm doors and windows. Works great! I think I'm going to have to cover the dash with a towel when I do the Murano, though - the spray is pretty aggressive.
