Hi fellow MOwners, I was looking fora thread of the engine detailing on how to do it, because I know inside the hood is a bit sensitive on those intake, plugs and electronics, could anyone help me if how to detail the MO engine, I have a local detailer and always charge me $79 for the job, I saw this Zymol Engine cleaner and want to give a try, but don't have an idea on how to be safe inside the hood, help please...

You've been getting ripped. Engines these days are sealed units so getting sprayed by water is no big deal. I take my pressure sprayer every once in a while and pressure spray everything down. Make sure you do it while the engine is cool. Doing this on a hot engine will make a lot of steam from the hot exhaust tubing and exhaust manifolds. If you really want to detail clean your engine, you will need the following from any local auto parts store:
Spray it all over the engine, let it sit for a moment, then take your pressure sprayer or something similar and wash your engine and let dry. You'll be happy you have a clean engine and saved some money in the process! So...please...don't ever let the dealership charge you for an engine compartment detail ever again. A complete waste of money!

Well...the whole point was to show the type of product not the exact one. There are neutral smelling engine cleaners that Gunk sells as well. Just buy one you like and go with it. If your pressure sprayer is high powered enough, you usually don't need the engine degreasers as the water will do all the work.
