Default Ripped leather...how do I fix this?

2007 Murano SL

There are pretty bad tears/rips:

Any of the following would help:

Quick fix
Part-time fix
Permanent fix

Also, I think the color is tan...not exactly sure though.

There's enough damage that I think you need to go to an upholstery shop and have them replace the damaged panels. It's possible to replace panels without replacing the entire seat cover. I count two damaged panels.

That doesn't look like leather to me.

The side panels on most manufacturers leather seats are vinyl. The parts that touch your butt and your back are real leather. The vinyl is what cracks first....usually. I'm not sure, other than replacing the seat covers entirely, where you'd get that done. Sorry.

Today's vinyl is pretty good stuff. It's hard to tell it from actual leather, but yours looks like it's been abused. Take it to an upholstery shop.

Or just replace it. Check Ebay periodically and get a whole new set for less than $300.

Mine looks the same way. I got a quote to redo the bottom for $100 at my local Flea Market. I ended up purchasing some airbag friendly seat covers at my local auto parts store and had forgotten all about it until this post.
