Default embarassing question

I was waxing my Murano a couple of weeks ago, using a Carnauba wax, supposedly high quality as recommended by the local detailing shop. My helper mistakenly put it all over the panel under the rear bumper and mud flaps, and started on the front panels before being stopped. It looks terrible, a dull yellowish swirly pattern. I think these panels were meant to be Armouralled, not waxed.

Any suggestions on how I can get the wax off without wrecking the panel?

Very easily. Use Dawn liquid dishwashing soap diluted in a small amount of water with a gentle nylon brush and proceed. The more concentrated the soap, the quicker the wax will vanish.

You may need to repeat the process but it will do the job.

Then, apply 303 or Zaino's Z16 to protect and get a deeper black finish.

I use carnuaba wax....Collinite. I use it on all my my black plactic and the front and rear lower panels---actually, everything but the glass.
You can't see it, at all.

I understand that peanut butter is very good for removing un-wanted wax.

Well, if it's pure carnuaba, I gues you can still eat the peanut butter

BTW...NEVER use Armor All, its petroleum based and over time it WILL dry out, fade, crack your vinyl/plastic.

Lexol is great, 3M has some good stuff with UV protectant in it.

Grip, after picking up MO after having them reapply AutoMate I am sure it was never there to begin with.Feels like a good wax job now
everything was sticking to it before and fingernail tested dry. Maybe
you can get Pinnacle to do yours if you think it got missed.
