I recently got a scratch on the rear bumper (lower left side) and was curious as to whether or not there is a clear bra material applied. It looks as if there is. I have the Langka kit but do not want ot start sanding if it is a plastic bra as this will most likely do more harm than good. Does anyone have any experience with scratch repair on the bumpers?
Thanks, RZ |

The rear bumper doesn't come from the factory with a clear bra installed. If you think you have this, maybe it was a dealer installed option.
I had my bumper scraped by a dealer when I brought it in for service. They tried to paint it, but I wasn't happy with the result. I made them replace the bumper, and give me back the original. I kept a large piece of it in case I ever wanted to practice touch-up painting.
