Push bar\Floor mats\Bumper guard installed! **many pics** - Nissan Murano

Well, as you all know, today was the day to install the push bar/light bar/nudge bar on the MO. At the same time I also ordered the all weather floor mats and the rear bumper protector. I ordered all of the items from here.

Everything went well and here's the pics to prove it!
Floor mats:

And here is the push bar install:
Here is all that came in the box

First you have to remove the front 'mudflap' and then insert one of the black metal pieces through this hole

Inside the hole there are predrilled holes that you bolt it to

I suggest turning your wheel out to gain access to these holes. The driver side is very easy and the passenger side was more of a PITA because of the windshield washer reserve.

According to the instructions, it is easiest to bolt the passenger side in if you attack it from an angle parallel to the bumper.

After thats done, screw in your mudflaps and then bolt on the guard.

It was getting kind of dark so I could only snap a pic before I called it a day

Overall, the install was pretty easy and I'm not mechanically inclined. I'd say that everything took about 1 hour to do total. The bar itself is very very lightweight, but it seemed fairly strong. I sat on it and it held me, while it was on the MO, with no problems. As for a 1.5 ton car....well...I hope I never find out.

The bar actually looks really good. Better than I expected!

I still wonder what it would look like chrome....

How does the rear bumper gaurd install? Is it just glued on? I have a dog that rides in the back and I'd like to keep him from scratching up the rear bumper when he loads.

The rear bumper guard goes on with some self adhesive. Basically it amounts to double sided tape...

im getting there...

first i want to see how much it would be to have the chrome grille painted body color and then im gonna see how much chroming the bar costs.

its looking great. the rear bumper is pretty cool too. i'm gonna hold out for the stainless steel one, hopfully santa will be kind this year.

it looks nice though.

There's a stainless steel rear bumber protector? Where can I see that? I was gonna buy the rubber one, but I'd like to see it in stainless first.

Yeah, keep an eye out for me. I always get excited when I see another MO, but the peson just drives on by! A honk is always welcome!

We try to keep the garage as clean as possible. There is a nice work bench next to the mustang that you cant see. Everything is in there.

when i was buying my MO, i asked my dealer about the push bar. he told me that there were 2 of them. an aluminum one, and a stainless steel one. i've seen the stainless steel one with the side rails

and it was nice. so i innocently asked the price....$700.

so i walked out of the dealer thinking i'll just buy an aftermarket one. the only problem is...i can't find it anywhere. a part of me is wondering,if i should just pony up and get it...then the other side of me is saying....$700 for a piece of bent steel?

Here are some of the pictures of my 8500K HID Lights.. They are so bright and blue, they make 4300k look like regular halogen lights. I compare them to a friend of mine that has an Audi TT 2000 with HID and someone in the crowd make a remark: Is the TT equiped with HID? The only drawback, I can't find fog lights that will match the color of the 8500k bulds..
