As they sing on the Movie "Grease", "Tell me more, Tell me more, Tell me more"!

Looks nice. Inside the head light housing? Where did you mount the lower ones? DIY or custom shop install?

Why do they look so dim in daylight? Isn't the purpose of DRL's to be SEEN during the day? True they look intense in your night photos, but as DRL's? Just my opinion.

Ha definitely not DRLs, far from it. Ignoring DRL regulation, those things aren't even visible during daylight hours (kinda important). Those cheap LEDs will never last, but hey at least you're happy with them.

So let's call them "accessory" lights instead of DRLs. Problem solved.

I'd be interested in seeing some install photos and details about the type of LEDs used.

Interesting to say the least. I'm still down for drilling out the center 2 housings and putting white LED's in those. Not sure how I would like a light bank that sits on top of the paint job.

Mr3Putt

You're right, I don't mean to be an ass. In the future I'll try and be more constructive.

I'll stick to the factory accessory LED DRLs I think. Too tacked on looking for my taste...but still kinda cool.

Default Factory Kit DRL LED

Hi does anybody know how to remove the factory grill in a 2011. I am thinking of getting the factory LED DRL kit. Is there a aftermarket kit that will fit in well. and does the factory model replace the lens or a led kit go in? Thanks

The kit replaces the entire housings on both sides.
