Does anyone know if there is an adjustment to raise
And lower the headlight beam? Few people told me there Is no bolts like a lot of other vehicles which is crazy to me. I cant see farther than 15 feet in front of car |

Yes, the headlights housings do have adjustment screws to adjust the height of the beam.

What year is your MO, and do you have halogens or HIDs?

I have a dial that I can rotate that raises and lowers the headlight beam....is this something that is only on the Gen II cars? The salesman showed it to me when I bought the car...but I cant' remember where it is...on the dash.

Me thinks I'm in for it with you guys. I should have just said I bought an 09 Murano and left it at that. Seriously guys, don't call BS on me. There's a dial right next to the one that opens the rear hatch that has an image of a headlight on it. You rotate it one way and the lights raise, the other way and they go down. I tested it on my garage door one night and watched it operate...I imagine they're set so that you don't end up going too high and put the headlights in someone's eyes, but that's what your brights do anyway.
C'mon...gimme a break here....I'm a new guy...not prone to BS...and certainly never had the credentials for an 007 operative. Besides, I have a backup in Jim...he's got one too!! Oh...and what are caltrops? ****(I went and did a google search on Caltrops...no it doesn't have the ability to scatter those)

Hi Guys,
I have a 2003 SE AWD and I have the little headlight power adjustment dial as well on the left side of my dash. I find that it helps to adjust the lights down during snow storms as I can see the road better. I thought that all Muranos had this little feature... ![]() David |

Alright..new to this forum so don't beat me up too bad if I delve into a previously discussed topic.
Wife has an 07 Murano S. The low beams are worthless. I would consider them dangerous as far as how much light they get out in front of you. Question #1. Is the height of the headlight unit adjustable ? If so, how? Question #2 My dealer claims there are no Nissan driving lights (mount in bumper) available thru Nissan. Are there decent aftermarket driving lights that fit into the "knock-outs" in the bumper that will throw some more light out on the road? |

Lars-
Welcome to the forum. There are dozens of threads dealing with the output of the halogen headlights. Seek (search) and ye shall find. I just posted a response to a similar inquiry in another thread. -njjoe

Any thoughts on after-market driving lights. It gets dark up here in rural Minnesota and I like to see the deer so I can avoid them rather than harvesting venison with the Murano. |
