Default dog pet barrier

Recently bought an 07 MO and am searching for available options to safely barricade our dog(s) in the cargo area.

What pet barriers are available?
Any good pics of them installed on the forum?

I've searched, and found some text on this subject, but no pics and/or specific part recommendations. There are obviously several low-priced/low-quality items out there...but we're looking for something with good value. Thanks.

Best way is to put the dog in a portable cage--like one member did. Those bars dont prevent them dogs from scratching your rear leather seats.

The large kennels that are all mesh and allow air to circulate are the best way to keep your dog(s) secure and confined to the back. I raise and show Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a large African dog...they run from 80-110 pounds...and I tried that barrier thing....if you notice (in the picture) the rounded feet it has that press against the top of the car? Those feet are secured by unscrewing the foot to gradually put more and more pressure on the top and bottom of the upright supports. It ended up putting dents in my wife's Toyota 4runner headliner. Most newer cars have headliners made out of some sort of foam insulation covered by the fabric...that insulation is prone to denting when you screw in the supports tightly so that the barrier won't push down. Depending upon how big and strong your dogs are, it might work for you if it doesn't need to be too tight, but it also depends upon your mindset...do you want your dogs to be able to run freely in the back, or are you willing to cage them? If you opt for the cages, you should secure the cages to the flooring with the cargo tie-down brackets to prevent those cages from breaking your neck in the event you had a head-on collision....they'd become a missile capable of major damage to the interior as well as your head and neck, not to mention what would happen to the dog in the cage. Just something to think about. I cage mine unless I'm just running to the park or taking them for a ride locally...then they just run free in the back with the rear seat down and covered by a tied down pad I had custom made out of a sleeping bag to fit in the back of the MO.
