This is the grill I installed right after I bought the LE and I have to say that it really sets it apart from the stock setup. It also has the bottom rock gurard that deflects road debris from nicking or damaging your radiator or tranny cooler fins and lines. Although it is a bit pricey, I really like how it seems to smooth out the lines in the front. I've had a number of Murano compliment me on it. The actual installation is a bit of a pain and takes some time and finesse. You should also use a flat black spray paint on the aluminum and shiny parts that you can see thru the grill to make it a nice clean look with nothing showing thru. Since the car is white, the chrome makes a nice classy and sterile addition to the overall looks. Nissan Murano Mesh Grille by E&G Classics, 2pc 2009-2010

Yeah, you're right about it being pricey....but I had just sold my two Porsches, had some extra cash, and wanted something that presented itself well. Although I have come to really like the Murano, I was on the bubble between the MO and the Buick Enclave, and now that the decision making is over, had I to do it over, I probably would have gone for the Enclave. There are just too many idiosyncracies popping up with the MO that make me a little concerned about long term reliability. Granted, we only hear about the things that go wrong here, but there seem to be a lot of common denominators that Nissan is turning a blind eye to. Bad PR and marketing strategy in my mind. As I said, I really like the car, and since I'm a lot older than when I bought the Porsches. I don't need 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. I needed comfort, more room, more utility factor, lots of accessories, and something that didnt have a six speed manual tranny!! Truthfully, I've never even watched a movie in it...so there are doo-dads that would suit a family with kids a lot better.

It does look like it's for a first generation huh? Maybe a cut down version of the 06-07 grille given the way the bottom portion looks.
