Default Vent Visors

Where can I get a set of the AVS vent visors for my 2012 Murano at a decent price?

If you mean those front door wind deflectors, are you sure you want the additional road/wind noise that comes with that?

Yes I mean those. I was thinking Sears had them, but I cannot find them on their website.

I got mine from SAR for around $54, but as nitely mentioned, it may cause you some wind noise. I noticed an increase in wind noise after I installed l mine, (they are custom designed specifically for the MO and fit perfectly) but that adhesive they have on them is TOUGH to get off so I left them on.......the noise isn't that bad...but it is noticeable....enough so that I took the car to the dealership and asked them why there was wind noise because the first one I ever drove was very quiet...a feature that turned me toward the MO. I even removed the cross braces on the roof rack thinking that perhaps they were causing the noise...NOT. The service rep pointed to the deflectors and said that I had altered the aerodynamics of the car and that was causing the noise. I have hearing aids, so I fixed the problem by turning down the volume!!

I raise show dogs so I need them there to crack the windows for ventilation and they're also handy during rain to lower the windows but keep the rain from getting inside. Not a big deal really.

Sorry....I gave you a partial company name...try this and look for accessories: I bought this grille from them as well as the window vent covers. They had the best price and the vents fit exactly for a MO.

You were'nt being a jerk, just a little curt...but I was trying to tell you that in your quest for the visors, there was a tangential issue involved.

I'm with Chuck with the need to "crack the glass" a bit when I'm driving, especially when it's raining. I opted for Nissan's Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version of the OEM visors (ordered them directly from a Japanese Broker) and really don't have any wind noise, or at least anything that has bothered me. Mine are pretty heavy, actually thick, cast acrylic, versus the US market's, thin thermoformed ones. They are definitely more streamlined, come further down over the window and are held on with small clips and minimal tape. They also have a decent sized lip that curves back in towards the window. This lip makes it somewhat harder to clean the inside without lowering the window, but maybe it reduces the wind noise too. All-in-all, I'm really happy with mine and would purchase this type again in a heartbeat. Hope this helps and take care!

Jim

I just received a set that I ordered via e-bay link here. The set is a custom fit for the Mo, however, it does give you added road noise. I will keep them, I like the option of leaving the windows open a crack in the rain.

Here are a couple of photos, I just ran outside to take them. These are made by a Polish company see heko.pl

Here are the photos...

Thanks for the input. We had a 2010 Murano. We thought we had ordered the visors from Sears back then but now they say they no longer carry them. They didn't create any noise issues though. We ordered the vent visors for our 2012 we just purchased from the Nissan dealership yesterday.

How are these in-channel visors? Did they attach to the inside of the channel with tape? I have a set like this on my 2010 Explorer, and I think they have less noise than the outside mounted ones, and they are also sleeker.

I put them in my watch list on E-bay pending further info on how they work.

I'll see if I can take a up close picture tomorrow. They slide into the window channel, there is a little tape and two metal clips that help to keep them in place. I notice the noise but as mentioned, I rather have the ability to keep the windows open. Most of the time I keep the sunroof open as well, so the noise should not bother me all that much.
