Default Adding Bluetooth to Non Bluetooth MO

So researching around the site I stumbled upon a user who had a bluetooth device installed on his vehicle and didnt know what it was for till he discovered it was this Bluetooth Products :: Bluetooth Car Kits :: Advent Univeral Bluetooth with Nissan 2-Switch - cell phones accessories, cell phone cases, blackberry accessories, htc accessories, best tmobile phones, nokia accessories, samsung accessories, lg accessori So I went ahead and ordered it for my MO that doesnt have this. Does anyone know if this will give me any problems installing? It comes with the module and the switch that goes in the pop out area next to the gas cap switch on the bottom left side of the steering wheel.

Looks like there is cutting of wires involved. It is a universal kit with just some factory looking button to place in the dash. Might be a headache to install, just to locate the 3 or 4 wires you need to cut/tap into.

Thanks. I figured it might just be cutting some wires behind the radio. I'm not gonna personally do this I think ima take it to an auto sound place and have them install it. But looking on this thread: Proud new owner!! ( What is this accessory? ) this guy had it already installed by a dealer, came pre installed from factory or installed by the previous owner. Looks nice and if it works as it should it might be worth it.

Gotcha. Just wasnt sure if you were going to have it installed by someone else. Like I said, I think its only tapping into a wire or two and cutting another 2 wires, but locating those wires might be a pain. Let us know how it works out and how the system works afterwards!

UPDATE: Ok well I tried finding the ADVENT Univeral Bluetooth -with Nissan 2-Switch back when I started this thread. I thought I had found it on a few websites but was soon emailed back and told they weren't in stock. SO I gave up those 3 months. Yesterday I decided to commit myself in finding this part online and I did and it was in stock so I purchased it. Finally got confirmation of the shipment being on its way via 2day FEDEX. I should have it on Thursday. I will try to get it installed as soon I get a chance on Friday and Update you guys on the quality and installation.

I just boy one of BlueAnt's hands-free devices which clips onto the sun visor. Easy to charge, takes up little room, available used under $50.

Certainly having one full-time installed is more elegant, but for less than $50 I'm happy.
