Push the fog light assembly at the back of the bulb, where the wiring harness connects. This way you can "wiggle" as well as push to free the assembly. This allows you to hold the assembly by the wiring harness so it won't fall out.

I got mine from Pinnacle in AZ. Not sure where you are, but if you're from Canada, get the parts from the US. OEM prices are less than half of what we'd pay up here.

FOG LAMP ASSEMBLY--make sure to order the correct side, left or right, as they are not interchangeable. There are some aftermarket listings on ebay, and I believe they are interchangable with FX35/45 lights, so check for both.

OEM worked out to the same price for me as the aftermarket items, so I went that route.

I changed bulbs in both Murano and the FX. The fog lamps look the same.

What is the easiest way to replace HID bulbs in my 2007 Infiniti G35X? The headlights rotate right to left with steering.

Very interesting question. However, I am afraid it is the wrong forum....

Something that helped me on the right side:
There is a zero click shorty ratchet at Northern Tools that was a godsend on that project and others.
Zero click ratchets are awesome, when you can only move a mm, it can do it.

Hi,

Could someone please tell me what bulb size are the headlights and fogs?

Also, where did you buy these 'Hoens'? Are they that much brighter than stock?

thanks

Headlamps = 9007

Fogs = 9006

Something I learned upon replacing a blown fog; the stock fog lamps are brighter than standard 9006's. If you replace a fog, get a brighter alternative than standard 9006 and replace in pairs if you want matching color. I was at wally world to get the new bulb and saw standard pair of 9006's for $10 and silver stars for ~$30 a pair.
I got the standard ones.
I replaced just the blown bulb and ended up with one having a yellow tint compared to stock.
When I have time I will either get one from Nissan or two in a silver star or other "whiter brighter" alternative.
