Have you reviewed the forums here for the reset procedure? When you change out a battery, if battery power is disconnected for more than a few minutes, you have some resets to do.
A couple of searches will reveal much info on this topic. Search for "idle air relearn" and "ignition reset" and I think you will find good info.
Thanks Pilgrim! I will complete the reset/relearn.
I still need to figure out why the center stack (backup cam, radio, heat, a/c) is not working.
I stopped by the Nissan dealer today and they acted like they had never heard of such a thing. The sure were quick to inform me that the electrical diagnostics cost is $109 per hour!
Get a copy of the Factory Service Manual for your year.
As per FSM:
P1148 and P1168 are the Bank 1 & 2 Closed Loop Control Function.
Detecting Condition --- Does not operate even when vehicle is driving in the specified condition.
Possible cause --- Harness or connectors A/F Air fuel ratio sensor 1 circuit is open or shorted; Air Fuel Ratio sensor 1; Air Fuel Ratio sensor 1 heater.
FSM does not show any P0031, P0051. There is P0037-38, P0057-58 that relates to heated O2 sensor heater 2.
This does not make any sense. Did you do anything other than simply change the battery? Voltage overload may have caused a fuse to blow. Look at all the connectors around the battery, and also inside the fuse box next to the battery, for any blown fuse or relay that may have been pulled off of its socket. If still having issues, try disconnecting the battery and leaving it off for a few minutes. You may have to do re-learn again but it may also solve the issue.
