I tried resetting the light, by depressing pedal procedure, light goes off , but then comes back on. So I just dropped it off at Dealership again, and got a loaner. They say it could be a bad O2 sensor, there going to replace it and see if that shuts the light off. Will see hopefully I'll get a call later today..

You mean if the code they read out indicates a bad O2 sensor. They won't just replace parts without getting indication that those parts are indeed likely to be faulty. You can also get those same codes yourself, by using the accelerator method - if you don't have a code reader.

Yea, i think he said something about a code. I don't have a code reader, but how is this procedure done, where will I see code number and where do I look up what code means.

Section EC (engine control system), in Vol. 1 (of 4) of my 04 FSM, is where I found all of the codes, as well as the procedure using the accelerator pedal to set the diagnostic test mode - needed to retrieve codes by counting the SES light blinks. Once you get your code(s), there is another procedure, also using the pedal, to reset the light.

In the 7+ years I've had my Mo, I only had to read the code triggering the SES light, and then reset it, once. It never came back.

Just a word of caution, however. The procedure using the accelerator pedal is a little convoluted, and may have to be tried more than just once to get it to work. I think it took me 2 or 3 tries when I did it. A couple forum members actually gave up, if I remember correctly, and sprung for a code reader. They are relatively cheap these days and certainly easier to use.

Good luck. Let us know how it works out for you.

Ok.. It's finally fixed!!!. The code was P0037( heater oxygen sensor bank1 part 226A1-AR210 ). They said the sensor started acting up. However they said it had nothing to do with the CVT replacement. They further advised me that this issue with CVT transmissions is not only Nissan and is all the other manufactures such as ford etc. Well, im glad my car is back to normal, driving smooth again with no warning lights on. Hopefully this did it,I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. Oh and all was covered under warranty.

Nafddur, any recommendation on a good Code Reader, or where to get one that easy to use with my car?

Sorry, I've never owned a code reader. I'm old fashioned, and have always done my diagnostics the manual way. But there are others here who I know use readers and, I'm pretty sure, have reccommended various models over the years. Maybe someone can chime in with advice on which are best, or a search might lead you to past readers others here have used.

Glad you got your car back fixed.
