Default will i have problems if..

i just got a new TC put in the other day. I know that using the awd lock while turning with no slip will hurt the TC. If I'm driving with just auto awd, and I'm turning or whatever, is there any chance for it to hurt the TC again?

No. Slow leak from the TC seal is another cause of its failure though. Hence, regular inspection of the TC and CVT area is recommended.

If you never use the AWD LOCK again you will prolong the life of your TC. Don't worry, you don't really need it on your average snowy days. The auto awd will kick in once a slip is detected by the sensors. It is strongly suggested to ONLY USE your AWD LOCK when you are stuck and can't move from stop. Once mobile again turn it off. AWD system is meant to help vehicles move from difficult road conditions (like being stuck or spinning wheels) but it does not help in any way in stopping the car. So Slow Down and drive according to the road conditions and you'll be fine.

Also - read the manual. It will help you understand the function of the AWD lock.
