Hi all-
I have a 2009 LE, I am currently having issues with a knocking/vibration that I feel in the steering wheel as well as the gas pedal. It is most apparent at about 40mph. Took it in and they checked the steering- rack and pinion etc and say it was all fine- blamed the low profile tires on the LE. Wondering if it could be a ball joint or strut and what that might feel like. Thanks

The only thing I can think of is either the transverse link, inner/outer tie rods, bad tire, bad rim, loose steering wheel linkages, or bad strut. Anything on the front end with those parts can cause a steering wheel shake. Your 09 should NOT be doing this at all. Still under warranty? Nissan should fix it.
Out of warranty, it's time to start troubleshooting. Start with the tires balance and rotation. If those are okay, then you can easily check the inner/outer tie rods.
