Needless to say, My Mo is history, replaced by a car without design defects...read all the posts. Your CVT may be safe under the warranty, but your transfer case ($4000) is not.
Nissan Refuses to Recall Murano Despite Major CVT Problems Beware. I loved the Mo, but I couldn't let my family drive in it anymore...

A misleading post from a disgruntled member.
There is a CVT warranty extension - 10 years or 120,000 miles.
