I have an 05 Murano that the AWD quit on. The AWD light flashes only when the front wheels spin.
When I press the AWD button I still don't get AWD, won't this over ride the ABS sensors and lock AWD in?
Last April I put a new wheel bearing in and replaced the ABS sensor with a new Dorman sensor from Amazon, I now see the one Amazon lists for this car is not the same as the one Dorman says fits the 05 Murano.
So I think I may have the wrong ABS sensor, But why didn't I have the ABS warning lights if this is the wrong sensor?
Could it be something other then the ABS sensor?
I did not notice the loss of AWD till we got 6 inches of snow here.
I had the same issue as you (04) and the TC was shot. Lift the car up with all 4 wheels off the ground. Have someone put the car in drive. The rear wheels will spin if the everything from the TC to the rear end is ok.
Thank You MtnH20
I didn't think I was going to get an answer, then I was sick and haven't check back.
Transfer case is what it looks like, propeller shaft dosen't spin.
Only have about 60,000 miles, Will something cause this or is it just bad luck?
