Unhappy Mounts in the 2006 Murano

I have been having this knocking noise coming from the drivers side floor area. Took it in today, and was told all 4 of my mounts are broke. Estimate with labor was 1,117.00...Was told that this is a common issue with the Muranos. So why has this problem not been recalled? Also my RPM is revving up at take off, and only hitting 40mph. When I let off the gas, it goes down, but revs right back up again when I apply to the gas pedal again. Was told the Trans fluid was okay, but looked kinda dark? Should I get this flushed and replaced? They didn't seem to concerned. This Murano has cost me more money fixing issues then any other vehicle I have ever owned!! Another shop said on the phone, that very rarely does the rear ones break, but is checking them in the morning. Any one here had this replaced? Can you let me know the cost you paid also?

Welcome to the forum.

Motor mounts do fail. Some cars are worse than others. Aggressive driving can also accelerate their demise.

Out of curiosity, who was it that said all four of your mounts broke? Was it a dealer or private garage? The reason I ask is because it is very odd to hear that all four have failed.
