I did not see any sort of write-up on bulb replacement on the forum so i took some photos while i swapped out the bulbs in our 2007 murano...
i've heard other people removing their wheels and peel back on the inner fender to gain access to the bulbs, but this way is very easy...a couple screws, move some things around and you can get ample working space to make it happen.... new bulbs ![]() it's a tight working space on both sides, but with the removal of a couple screws and hose clamp, access to the bulbs increases dramatically.. tight spot driver side ![]() so i loosened the hose clamp on the intake and put it aside.. ![]() tight squeeze but doable. ![]() bulb backing, push down on the top black plastic piece that will release the plug from the bulb and gently pull the plug off the bulb... ![]() you will want to unscrew the white retainer that holds the bulb in place.. ![]() once the retainer is off, the bulb can be removed easily from the housing...replace with the new bulb (DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS WITH YOUR BARE HANDS, use a rubber glove if needed to prevent that from happening) and reattach the retainer once the driver side bulb is back in, reattach the air intake and tighten the hose clamp then move on to the passenger side... another tight fit, and yes the bulb is back there.. ![]() ![]() remove the two screws holding in the wiper fluid reservoir to make your job so much easier ![]() remove the retainer as you did on the driver side ![]() ![]() remove the old bulb, replace with new bulb, put retainer back on to the light housing, put the wiper fluid reservoir back on, tighten screws and you are DONE! good luck! |

we definitely like the bulbs...it's noticeably brighter than what came from the factory
recently i had installed a set of fog lights on the Murano and used DDM tuning's HID kit which has daylight in front of the truck how haha but outside of putting in HIDs into the truck, they are a good alternative to producing more light output from the truck |

Hey NYCO, i'm going to be doing a fog light install pretty soon with HIDS and i have one question regarding your install. Did you purchase a bezel for the fog lights? this is the bezel i am referring to. Genuine Nissan 2006 2007 Murano LH Fog Driving Light Bezel Finisher New | eBay
