Bikerjohn: YES, while i accelerate and as i move sloping upwards and only for seconds. in both cases, (accelerating & climbimg) the sounds comes up and if i ease off the gas pedal for an instant it goes away and comes back when i put my foot on the pedal to increase speed. the sounds kinda tells me "EASE OFF MAN"!!. What octane gas are you using and how fresh/clean is it? The 'ping' sounds sounds like preignition which can be caused by using too low of an octane rated fuel.

The op mentioned that in his area, there is no octane ratings. Just one grade of fuel.

Seems like that could be the issue, and he has mentioned using cleaners. I would add a bottle of octane boost, and see where that leaves you!
