I didn't touch the intake but added a FlowMaster 80 Series muffler. I got the sound I was looking for. Very similar to the FX with a bit of a Camero gurgle. Only $100 for the muffler on Amazon. You need a muffler shop to install it because you need a couple short pipes welded on to match the stock piping to the FM. It's up to you whether or not you want to add different tail pipes. I just reused the OE tail pipes. Total cost with install was about $250.
