Default New to muranos....

Doesn't look like there is a whole lot available in the performance world....

Exhaust, CAI, and a tune. Anyone make headers for the car?

Are people not "modding" their cars because the trans can't take it?

Anyone offer intake, tb, or head porting?

It seems the Murano is not a popular vehicle to mod, and I've found very little offered across the board. You'd probably need to consult with a speed shop that is into the Nissan world of Zs and rice rockets to see if they could apply some of their knowledge to these vehicles. Most have reported a no gain after modifying and installing a cold air kit, which makes sense since no other mods have been done to increase flows.

There isn't a whole lot out there. I have a Gibson exhaust and JWT Popcharger intake. Some have installed a Flowmaster 80 exhaust and H&R makes lowering springs. There is some parts available from Japan but those parts are always pretty exspensive. I assume you could get a tune if you installed an intake an exhaust.

Most Murano buyers are everyday drivers, not performance enthusiasts. Personally, I find the car to have good power and I don't think it's a good idea to stress the transmission. I know darn well it's not a good idea to stress the transfer case.

If I want to mod anything, it will be my 1983 280ZX Turbo.
