Default Kinetix Racing SSV Intake Manifold

Was eyeballing this intake, looks pretty well built and the seller has sold 4. Anyone here try it yet? My buddy wants to get it for his CVT Maxima.

Claims 14hp/16ft lbs tq over stock but not sure which model.

Terribly steep. I remember there was one other guy in this forum that did this intake kit and also altima headers. Had to do custom exhaust work to get the headers to plug into the back end of the exhaust. The forum member's name was RMONTANEZ. Haven't seen him around the forums in a while.

I'm sure there were other threads he was in. Remembering him leaving pictures of his intake/header work somewhere in this forum.

Yeah its too bad for the CVT because these VQ35s can handle some good power.

It is sharp looking when you open the hood and see the Kinetix intake. It would be great for a show car, but a waste of money for every-day use.

True that. There has to be a bit of a don't care factor with these kinds of upgrades. I'd probably do it for the fun of just doing it. There's something about working on cars that is fun for me.
