Thanks for the pics Parry. Looks like a perfect match. Will be placing my order soon for a set of these.

Holy crap. These tires are so silent and smooth compared to the p.o.s. Eagle LS. I went through 2 sets of those, and didn't know any better. I'm glad I've stumbled upon this thread.

I'm finding that these tires pick up a lot of rocks that get stuck in the tread. Now, it could be that I'm just used to my old tires that were practically bald, so they never picked up anything (including traction on wet roads ) but if I remember correctly I didn't seem to have as big of a problem with this with my Eagles or Yoko YK520s when they were new.

Several times I have heard a "clicking" noise that correlated to speed, and each time it went away after I knocked out a few of the larger pebbles stuck in the tread. I think the tread pattern allows larger pebbles to get stuck.

Not a big deal, mind you. I seriously doubt that it affects performance or wear, and the noise is very quiet (can't hear it with the windows closed), it's just something I've noticed.

I agree with you Corin. I noticed the same thing but don't think it is a biggie to worry about.

Follow up from you guys with the Yokohama Parada Spec-X would be appreciated. It has been a few months. Still positive about this tire?

Definitely I have had these on my Mo since October and love them. Did notice the small rocks being stuck in the treads but that has diminished now. Extremely smooth, quite ride. They are at the top of my list and while I have only had them on for 5 months they seem to be wearing great. I would recommend them. Tire Rack purchase, of course.

Default Spec-X doing well...

I went in for my first free roatation with 6K miles on them and had the service manager go round the car with me checking each tire....they're wearing really nicely...evenly, continue to drive quietly and smoothly. I do run them with 36 PSI so my ride might pick up a little more road feel than if they were at 34, but I find the performance and handling to be everything that I expected and wanted. At the next rotation I'll put a tread meter on them for a more accurate wear measurement.

I did have the car aligned when I bought the new tires....all four wheels were out of alignment....this was a "Premium certified car" too....although I paid a bit extra for the alignment, I think it may have saved me somethng in the long run insofar as tire life is concerned.

Just got mine mounted today- very quiet. Impressed with overall handling and ride is not degraded at all given stiffer sidewall... I'll update again after I put some real miles on them

OK, put a couple hundred miles on these puppies, and they are awesome! Very stable at highway speeds, super quiet, and very nice cornering. Amazingly, the ride is really good! (For 20s)
I am impressed with the wet handling and traction - these do not lose traction on acceleration like the OE Toyos did in the rain . If these can last 30+k, then I will be very happy indeed!

235/65/18 put on today and WOW! What a difference from the POS Hankook tires that were on it. Will post back later after some usage.
