Which one do you guys think would look better on a 2009 black murano SL?
I am having a hard time deciding, heh. The price is close enough, within $20 per wheel. VCT Vezzaro ![]() or Status 826 Knight 10 ![]() Please share yout thoughts. Thanks. |

I checked with VCT before, and they said oem TPMS sensors should fit fine, for what their word is worth. I have not checked with Status yet, i guess I should probably call them and find out. Thanks for the comment

VTC
If I may make a suggestion... It always amazes me when someone spends a ton of money on new wheels/tires that look great on their car, but you end up viewing a rust-covered brake setup behind the spokes. Painting the calipers black often yields a much more cleaner look. Just my two cents... -njjoe

Thanks guys! I like the design of the VCT wheel too, just wasn't sure about the lip being black.
![]() njjoe, mine seem to be in pretty good shape, but it's definitely an interesting idea. I'll have to check whcih places around here can do that kind of work. Thanks! |

Personally...I like the Status 826 Knight 10...option #2. The first one is too busy while the second one has cleaner lines. I'm all about simplicity yet sophisticated when it comes to cars. The first one reminds me of vehicles I see around that look normal but have overly bling-ed wheels.
I agree with Njjoe. If you do this wheel upgrade, be sure to take the time to paint your calipers and center of your disk brakes. Whatever rust you see through the wheel will only take away from the effect.

I never got into spending money on new wheels...but if this was a gift....I would choose the bottom one--clean lines. The first looks like a snow flake design. But the status name on the second one is kinda cheesy.
Is this a size upgrade to 20s or you just don't like the oem? Can't resist but.....I always try to discourage people in spending their hard earned on new wheels...sooner or later they all look the same to me. Hey, so long its not a hub cap/plastic wheel covers its already nice looking. The nice pricey ones are also magnet for thieves. How about a nice portable navi instead?

I will be selling my OEMs, so this will be free or close to free switch out for me (not counting the tires, but need new ones anyway). The car already has built in navi These are not chrome plated and they are not that expensive, so I am hoping the thieves will overlook it...they might get distracted by my mirror mounted radar detector anyway

Yep. I will be going with 255/50R20 tires.
Compared to the stock SL (235/65R18): overall diameter goes from 30.02 to 30.03 (pretty much identical) sidewall height goes from 6.01 to 5.01 (this is going to provide a harsher ride) radius stays the same Compared to the LE (235/55/20): overall diameter goes from 30.17 to 30.03 (will not be noticable) sidewall height goes from 5.08 to 5.01 (will not be noticable) radius goes from 15.08 to 15.01 (will not be noticable) So it will be almost identical to LE stock experience, which is fine. Oh, and i found some pictures of Status 826 knight 10 mounted on a car and they look very classy! I think I will end up getting them. |

Thanks for all the comments guys. I decided to go with the Status one and turns out it's out of stock for another 3 months, heh. So i was browsing around and found a perfect mix between the two that I like better than either one of these. I will be getting this one once they have it in stock:
![]() ![]() These are Luxe LX40 - 20 x 8.5, 114.3mm, 38mm offset. |
