I had a set of Yokohama Prada Spec-X put on my wifes Mo (2003) about 4k miles ago. I am stunned by how quiet they are. We travel quite a bit (inlaws are 700 miles away), so ride comfort, adequate snow handling, and noise were the main things we were looking for. So far, a spectacular tire, but no mileage warranty. We haven't had any snow yet (TR lists them as good), so I can't personally comment on their handling in the snow. Tire Rack reviews are very positive. Rain handling is great and we love the way they ride.

You should do an archive search on this subject. Threre's enough discusson to fill a book.
I bought thru Discount Tire and got the Prada Spec X on the 20 inch rims on the LE. I have about 5K miles on them and am very pleased. Wear factor is excellent. Performance in light snow, rain, mountain driving, and stopping distances are great. Everyone has their own particular favorites. I've always been a Michelin guy, but the Spec X has been right up there with the Michelins....wear seems a bit better. I'm running them at 36-39 psi rather than the recommended 34. I think Nissan runs the pressures lower to give you a smoother ride....I don't mind feeling a bit of the road and think that the higher psi gives me better all around performance.

Just had a set of the Cooper CS-4's put on my '09 SL yesterday, Friday. $815 out the door with a full replacement warranty, not pro-rated. The Eagle LS's that were the OEM's were pretty good. I got over 52,000 miles out of them, usually I get more than that. So, looking at the 80,000 mile warranty on these Coopers, I should be good to go for quite awhile. They're a good looking tire; I like the sidewall design. But I noticed one thing right away; they seem to be a little loud. Do you think that is something that will disappear after they're broken in? Or will I just get used to it?
