SNIPER - That is perfect, thanks very much!!! I was having trouble figuring out where the metal tab with a hole in it that comes off the CCU attaches, but thanks to your pics, I see it serves no purpose at all!!! Thanks again, very help and informative!!!

I just started work on this project again and am having trouble with one piece. For those that have done the install in a pre-wired MO, can you tell me where the purple/white wire from the ccu ends? I know it is to link up with the dcu to display the camera shot, but I don't know where the wire dead ends for pick up when you are pre-wired? Thanks!!

How do you know if your MO is prewired? If prewired is there any need to remove any additional audio and video components, headunit, center console, etc?

Hey James, if you look in the back behind the trim and carpeting on the passenger side where the ccu should be located, you should find a harness that is not in use if you are prewired. There will also be a harness in the hatch beneath the trim cover for the camera to plug into. I can't say for an 07, but my 05 was far from plug and play. Since you have the color screen, it may be plug and play for you though, in which case you would only need to purchase the ccu and camera and you are good to go.

Thanks wastinu. Looks Like I'm pre-wired. Went to the dealership to see how much the CCU and camera cost and they wanted a whooping $879 for both. Still deciding on this mod. Hopefully ebay will have this one day (fingers crossed).

Hey James, ya dealership is WAY too expensive!! I got my parts from an auto recycler, but eBay is a great option as well. I think I paid $250 for both the ccu and camera. Our gen of Mo have been around long enough that you should be able to get used parts with some looking. Good luck with search!!!

I know this is an old post but I have been working on getting parts for this for a while now and am ready to work on this. My qestion is where exactly is the CCU wiring located. I have been able to put in the camera and the wiring for that was there now I am looking for the CCU wiring and am not exactly sure where that should be located (if it is there).
Thanks for any and all help.

Anybody know if other backup camera modules or actual backup camera is compatible, like the Nissa Altima would work on a 2007 Murano. From the look of it, it has the same connectors

I have the backup module out of an Armada and a camera out of a Q45. part numbers are SLIGHTLY off but I believe they may have supersessions on certain parts.

Towards sniper- you wouldnt happen to know of any place i could get the plug from for the control module do you?
