I have a Z50 2007 Ti-L with Navigator. My NAV/Reverse cam display screen stays blank and will not display anymore. SOmetime when it is a very hot day my screen/NAV and Rev Camera work perfect but 99% of the time now, the screen is just blank with a very faint backlight.
Any ideas? Nissan service said (after a very quick look) my screen may be gone. Replacement is $3800 Aussie dollars. I am located in Sydney. Anybody know of anyone that repairs in Sydney or can take a closer look or where i can find the part 28090CC40B ? Thanks Tony |

I don't know what you call them Down Under, but have you searched junk yards or auto salvage yards for the part? Either that or eBay would give you the best chance of sourcing the screen for less than $3800 Aussie dollars. Good luck. -njjoe

I also have a 2007 Ti-L and my screen has just gone blank too! I also live in Sydney...weird
The screen started flickering a few days ago and then went black but had a few white lines in it. Then it started making a strange beeping noise. When I put the headlights on the screen turns white. But today when i drove the screen actually came back on and was displaying correctly, but went off again. I was wondering if it was a loose connection possibly? |

The only thing I can suggest is to make 100% sure the connector on the rear of the display is fully seated. Sometimes thermal expansion/contraction can unseat connectors to the point where the contacts pull apart.

Thanks Warhammer...that makes alot of sense. Sunday and Monday were very hot days here so the a/c was on full blast. Any idea if I can check the connection myself? Or should i take it to the auto electrician?
