So I just got my 2004 MO and noticed a few recalls had been posted by Nissan:
Fuel tank being punctured, Alternator wire breaking & Rear seat belt webbing. Is there any other way to know if my MO has been through these recalls other than taking it to the dealer to see if all is good to go (talk to someone with my VIN or something along those lines)? Can I still get the fixes from Nissan even though I am not the orig. owner? I just want to be as safe as I can be and make sure that I can get everything taken care of. Thanks for the help. -joe |

Joe-
Congrats on your new MO. You can contact Nissan Consumer Affairs @ 800-647-7261. Give them your VIN and they should be able to tell you which recalls have been performed on your MO. Nissan is obligated to implement any outstanding recalls even though you are not the original owner. Enjoy the ride. -njjoe
