Default Brake Issue?

2003 Murano.
I do tow my 16' boat which is put in saltwater and i always wash off the Suv and boat.
Went to drive today after it has been sitting for a couple of weeks and it would not move felt like blocks were under the tire.
went back and forth and finally got it to move and it felt like i was dragging something and now it feels like the brakes are dragging at least 2 of them. not sure though.
any suggestions?
Calipers stuck?
Is there any spray for this issue?

Most likely is that you have frozen pistons in a brake caliper, locking up the brake. Also possible that a pad is stuck to a rotor, but that's less likely. The pistons have a rubber boot over them, so in theory they're protected from water of any type, but saltwater is nasty stuff and any pinhole can cause problems.

Were it me, I would not back a Murano into saltwater. I'd borrow or buy an old pickup and use it.

I used my MO to launch/retrieve our boat and skis at least 20 times this summer and do not recall ever getting in deep enough to submerge the rotors, let alone the calipers. How deep do you go?

Whatever the cause, it sounds like a stuck brake - the questions are which brake and why.

if you set your parking brake when stopped (a good practice in general) perhaps it's stuck on....?

I may have been hasty earlier - but if it's not a stuck piston in a caliper, the parking brake is the next thing that comes to mind.

This is suprising. I have an 03 murano and I launched/ towed my boat hundreds of times (in saltwater) and never had any issues with the brakes. I thought this would be the first thing i had to replace since my setup is about 3000lbs. I still have the stock brakes on mine and I have had them checked by nissan a couple of times and they are still good. Thats about the only thing that hasn't went wrong with my MO.

I'm picturing something like this (I took this picture at the launch a few weeks ago)
