Default No real issues, but time to sell?

I've got a 2004 SL FWD. No leather, heated, no sunroof, etc. It has 91k miles so I guess the warranty on the CVT will be gone soon.

No real issues with it, but I suspect I'll be facing some more major repairs in the near future? And perhaps the value will start dropping without the CVT warranty?

For a few thousand more I can get an Acura TL with all the options and half the mileage.

I do like the MO (though the seats aren't the most comfortable), but is it time for this to go?

You still have 3 years and up to 200k km or 120k miles before the CVT warranty expired

The main issues appear to be with the transfer cases on the AWD Muranos. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but I can understand the new car itch.

Looks like someone is indeed itching to have a new ride. It's probably a good time to sell while everything works...I tend to listen to that inner voice's suggestion as it's usually right. What would be the replacement though? I'm looking myself to sell my MO but haven't found a worthy replacement. So prepping her yet again for another year of ownership.

It's your call. Tranny warranty is still there, but people get the itch at different times - and you're almost ready for the spark plug change.

Yeah, what Pilgrim said, I was getting close to the spark plug change, I think I was at 88K miles, had just replaced passenger wheel bearing and the other side was making some hum therefore signaling a change. My front end bushing let go and started leaking some fluid. I just thought it was time to sell as these things were starting to add up. I knew the CVT warranty was a great selling point and I knew I did not want the car w/o the CVT warranty.
All that said, I sold but I do look at Mo's on the road and I must say I miss it. Am I sorry I sold? Yeah, a bit but on the other hand, it was just time to sell. We all will come to that bridge and need to make a call. It's not an easy call. I did enjoy the Mo for 6.5 years and part of me was ready for a change. I will always say she was a sweet ride and I got good money on a private resale. Like an old girlfriend, I miss her.

Traded mine in a month ago, couldn't be happier, I don't need to worry about the transmission, hubs, transfer case, door locks, lower control arms, struts, bushings.

If you look at this forum is full of the same complaints as mentioned above, people that say they don't have one of these issues are either lucky or to oblivious to recognize the issue.

Found my old mo at a local small dealer, 15999! feel sorry for the sap that buys it.
