Default Newbie Need Help ASAP-Belt Change

Alright guys I am new here but have worked on many cars...I am though at my whits end with this 2003 Murano. I am trying to change the AC/Alt (simple right), belt but for the life of me can not get the Idle pulley bolt loose!!! I have to use an open end because there is no room for a socket. I have tried everything...it still won't budge. How does this idle tensioner work? I was able to get the bolt loose on the top of the bracket but how does that let the idle pulley loose???? I am ready to give up, and I don't give up easily. Please help!!! I even tried to lower the engine an inch to get a socket on it but of course it didn't drop far enough.

I believe the nut on the idler pulley loosens if you turn it clockwise, and tightens by turning it counter clockwise.
