Have your Nissan dealer check the VIN number and they can tell you any warranty work that has been done. I believe they can also provide a print-out.

I would check at any Nissan dealer, just get the vin #.
at least you know you have 3 years or another 31000k warranty on
CVT. but I strongly recommend you to get some kind of warranty if youre
buying a used Murano.

I bought mine, an 03 in august of last year, and last week I took it to Nissan
because was doing a weird noise, (i thought it was coming from the engine)
they told me transfer case had to be replaced. $3590 for parts and labor.
well I have no choice but to fix it, they also found the power steering high pressure hose leaking fluid and bad lower control arms, right and left, and if you do some more research here you will notice that all these three problems are very common on first gen muranos. I would take it for an inspection before buying it, else youre gonna be spending money on repairs like I am.

don't live in fear, the mo is a great car, if these problems happen you have to deal with it, get a print out if possible that can give you some peace if there was work done, i didn't let the bad luck of some sway me from buying...........but i am putting in a new engine, sort of wish (knock on wood ) it was just a transfer case.
